Criteria = every decision needs to be justified apart from during the process of making

 

Need = a fluid medium uninhibited by the medium or the space

 

Space = does not limit gesture, neutral influence

 

Medium = light in a darkened space

 

Light = a symbolic medium that has many connotations

 

Darkness = needed for light to exist to create work

 

Create = a way to visualise a thought process

 

Thought = the unseeable and all elements and aspects of it recorded

 

Record = the element and variation of conscious or subconscious physical responses

 

Physical Response = captured for presentation to the audience

 

Presentation = should not add to or take away from how the artwork is experienced

 

Experience = dependant on size and positioning

 

Positioning = connected to the ground with a physical presence reflecting how it was made

 

Reflection  = public representation of own thoughts

 

 

 

In the confusion there is clarity, which results in success.
